Privacy Policy

            MoodSee does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

            All your mood entries, symptoms, medication records, and settings remain on your device. Period.

Data Collection

MoodSee collects no data from you. Specifically:

No personal information (name, email, phone number)
No usage analytics or behavioral tracking
No device identifiers or fingerprinting
No location data
No crash reporting data sent to third parties
No advertising identifiers
No cookies or similar technologies

Local Data Storage

MoodSee stores your mood entries, symptom logs, medication records, and app settings locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is:

Stored only on your iPhone
Protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
Never transmitted to any server
Completely under your control — you can delete it at any time by deleting the app

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your MoodSee data may sync between your Apple devices through Apple's CloudKit service. This sync is:

Handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure
End-to-end encrypted by Apple
Not accessible to MoodSee's developer
Controllable through your device's iCloud settings

You can disable iCloud sync for MoodSee in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud.

Third-Party Services

MoodSee does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. There are no SDKs from Google, Facebook, or any other third party embedded in the app.

HealthKit

Future versions of MoodSee may offer optional HealthKit integration to correlate mood with sleep and activity data. If implemented:

HealthKit access will require your explicit permission
Health data will be read locally and never transmitted
Health data will not be used for advertising or data mining
You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health

Children's Privacy

MoodSee is designed for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Because MoodSee collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
